BRIDGTON, Maine (AP) - Maine game wardens have recovered the body of a 19-year-old man who they say fell from a pontoon boat into Long Lake in Bridgton.

Wardens say the body of Jesse Nicholas Cardone, of from Hollis Center, was located in 42 feet of water using a side-scan radar early Thursday evening.

Police say Cardone had been missing and presumed drowned since around noon Wednesday.

Wardens say he was seated at the front of the boat when he fell overboard and went underneath the watercraft. He was not wearing a life jacket.

The warden service began using the radar because divers reported poor visibility Thursday. The body will be examined Friday by a medical examiner.
