LEWES, Del. (AP) - Authorities say a teenage boy is recovering after he was struck by a truck while running with his father.

Delaware State Police Master Cpl. Gary Fournier says the 15-year-old Rehoboth Beach boy apparently did not see the landscaping truck as he ran through the intersection on a back road west of Lewes on Wednesday morning.

Troopers say the boy is hospitalized in stable condition and is expected to survive his injuries.

Neither the driver nor the boy’s father were injured in the crash. Fournier says no one was charged.
