NEW YORK (AP) - Police say a man who had been shot in the chest drove himself to a New York City police station before dying of his injuries.

The New York Police Department says Zavon Gordon was shot just before 8 p.m. Thursday. After he pulled up at the 63rd Precinct stationhouse in Brooklyn, he was taken to a hospital. Doctors were unable to save him.

Gordon was 28 and lived in the Flatlands section of Brooklyn.



Police are investigating the shooting. No arrests have been made.
