BRIDGEWATER, Conn. (AP) - Police say they’ve identified at least one suspect involved in a Connecticut home invasion and shooting that left one man injured.

State Trooper Kelly Grant said Monday an arrest warrant is pending for the suspect involved in the Thursday incident in Bridgewater. She declined to say if other people may have been involved. A manhunt has been active for more than three days.

Grant says police determined at least one male suspect entered the home and one shot was fired.

The victim, 64-year-old Victor Compe, suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound. He remains hospitalized. His wife was also home but wasn’t injured.

Police said Friday the focus of the investigation turned to three stolen cars, including two that were recovered in Waterbury and another in Bridgewater.
