WOODLAWN, Md. (AP) - Four people have been injured after a car fleeing police hit another vehicle in Woodlawn.

Media outlets report that shortly before 6 p.m. Monday, a Baltimore County police officer pulled over a 26-year-old man driving an Infiniti. Police say the officer was walking up to the car when the driver sped off.

About two minutes later, police say the Infiniti crashed into a Nissan Altima. The Infiniti pushed the Nissan into a tree, which broke and fell.

The 32-year-old driver of the Nissan and his two sons, ages 9 and 14, were hospitalized with serious injuries.

The driver of the Infiniti was arrested and taken to a hospital with minor injuries. Police haven’t released the man’s name, but say charges are pending.
