NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - A man has pleaded not guilty to murder in the death of a New Jersey City University student whose body was found at the Eagle Rock Reservation.

Twenty-year-old Khalil Wheeler-Weaver of Orange on Tuesday also pleaded not guilty to disturbing human remains.

Prosecutors say Wheeler-Weaver strangled 20-year-old Sarah Butler and dumped her body at the 400-acre park in West Orange.

Authorities say Wheeler-Weaver was acquainted with Butler before her death.

Butler was last seen on Nov. 22 and her body was found on Dec. 1 buried under leaves and debris at the reservation.
