President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday will convene a “Tech Roundtable” with industry leaders from companies such as Amazon, Facebook and Google to help chart the next administration’s economic agenda.

The roundtable discussion at Trump Tower will include Elon Musk, chairman and CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, Apple CEO Tim Cook and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella.

“This is an amazing group of tech industry leaders the president-elect has brought together even before he has taken office to talk about how we can start winning again as a country and as an economy and as a tech sector,” said Trump transition team spokesman Jason Miller.

At the conclusion of the roundtable discussion, Mr. Trump will continue to discuss tech industry issues with Mr. Musk and Mr. Cook.

Mr. Musk also was named as a new member of the President’s Strategic and Policy Forum, a group of 20 business leaders who will meet frequently Mr. Trump to share their specific experience and knowledge about economic issues.

The other participants at the roundtable are:

• Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos;

• Oracle CEO Safra A. Catz;

• Alex Karp, co-founder and CEO of the software firm Palantir Technologies;

• Intel CEO Brian M. Krzanich;

• Google founder and CEO Larry Page;

• Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt;

• Cisco Systems CEO Charles H. “Chuck” Robbins;

• IBM CEO Virginia Marie “Ginni” Rometty; and

• Facebook CEO Sheryl K. Sandberg.
