Boy at Greensboro home with his mother killed in shooting

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Authorities say a 5-year-old boy has been killed after being shot during a fight at a Greensboro home.

Police said in a news release they have issued a murder warrant against 22-year-old Murad Weaver for the late Friday night shooting at his house.

Greensboro Police Capt. Nathaniel Davis told the News & Record of Greensboro (https://bit.ly/2hJQKhB) that investigators think Caleb Pearson was at the home with his mother, who was providing medical care for someone in the house.

Davis says there was a fight between the mother, Weaver and another person in the home before the shooting.
