RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - The University of Richmond will induct two former basketball officials who died in a hot air balloon crash into the school’s athletics hall of fame.
The Richmond Times-Dispatch (https://bit.ly/1sE6eBD ) reported Sunday that former women’s basketball player and assistant coach Ginny Doyle and former swimmer and women’s basketball operations director Natalie Lewis will be inducted into the hall of fame in February.
Doyle, who coached at the University of Richmond for 15 seasons, will be inducted as an individual. Lewis will be inducted as a member of the 2010-2011 swimming team.

The 44-year-old Doyle and the 24-year-old Lewis died in 2014 after a hot air balloon they were riding in hit a power line and burst into flames. The balloon’s pilot also died.
