BENNETTSVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Authorities are investigating the death of an infant in Bennettsville.
Police tell local media outlets that 2-week-old Charles Hopkins was pronounced dead on Saturday morning at McLeod Health Cheraw.
Bennettsville Police Investigator Shawn Lucas says the boy’s death is under investigation. No other details have been released.
An autopsy is expected to be completed by Monday.
