CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) - A shooting at an apartment complex has left a Camden man dead.
Camden County prosecutors say county police responded to the Independence Village Apartments around 9 p.m. Saturday after receiving 911 calls and getting an alert through Camden’s gunshot detection system.
Responding officers soon found the shooting victim, 32-year-old Tyrone Fooks. He was taken to a hospital but died there a short time later.
Further details about the shooting were not disclosed, including what type of weapon was used or how many people may have been involved.
A motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
Authorities say no arrests have been made.
