RUTLAND, Vt. (AP) - Rutland County law enforcement agencies are going to be working to keep the roadways safe in the Vermont county during the upcoming holidays.
The sheriff’s department and other agencies will be conducting sobriety checkpoints focusing on people who drink and drive and are under the influence of alcohol or illegal narcotics. They will also be looking for motorists who car child seats incorrectly installed.
Motorists are urged to not drink and drive and use a designated driver when appropriate.
And all occupants of vehicles must be properly restrained.
