SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Authorities say they have arrested a woman who admitted to shooting her partner at the Salt Lake City home they shared.
Officers had found 54-year-old Rose Harris dead Saturday after Sue Mary Hickman called police to request a welfare check. Police say Hickman told the dispatcher she shot the woman.
Hickman has been booked into jail on suspicion of criminal homicide.
Investigators say Hickman discussed her alleged involvement in the shooting with officers and five other individuals.
The shooting remains under investigation.
