PORTLAND, Maine (AP) - A Maine utility says it’s working to restore power to more than 2,300 customers in the far northern part of the state after it got a good dose of winter.

Stormy weather, including significant snowfall in Aroostook County, hit the state on Thursday. Emera Maine said it made good progress in Hancock, Penobscot, Washington and Piscataquis counties, but has been working in Arroostook on Friday.
