ENFIELD, Conn. (AP) - Connecticut State Police say a Massachusetts woman has died after the vehicle she was in rolled off an elevated section of Interstate 91 in Enfield and fell 20 to 30 feet onto the street below.

Troopers responded to the crash at about 2:15 p.m. Monday. Police say the car had crossed over all the lanes and hit the barrier on the right shoulder before falling into Oliver Road below.

Police say the passenger, identified as 22-year-old Marie Parks, of Springfield, Massachusetts, was taken to Baystate Medical Center where she died of her injuries.

The driver, 32-year-old John Gallucci, of Windsor, was hospitalized.

The crash remains under investigation.
