RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Police are investigating after a man was found shot to death in North Richmond.
Media outlets report that Richmond police responded around 10 p.m. Monday to the 3100 block of Carolina Avenue. There, officers found a man on the sidewalk with several gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have confirmed that Monday’s homicide is the city’s 61st of the year.
The man’s identity has not been released. No suspect information is available at this time.
