When a hockey skate has all of its components, there’s few things hockey players can’t do when they’re on the ice.

But take out one component, let’s say the actual skate blade, and things can go haywire.

That’s what happened to the Cleveland Monsters’ Jaime Sifers of the AHL. Sifers lost his blade during the Monsters’ 4-2 win over the Charlotte Checkers. Take a look at how difficult it was for Sifers to get off the ice.

After some guidance from a ref, a full-one shove from a teammate and a desperate crawl to the bench, Sifers was able to get off the ice to get some repairs.
