ATTLEBORO, Mass. (AP) - Authorities in Attleboro are investigating after a man was struck and killed by a commuter train on Christmas Eve.

Transit police said the man, whose name was not immediately released, was on the tracks when he was struck by the southbound train at about 10 p.m. on Saturday.

The Sun Chronicle (https://bit.ly/2i5vnrK ) reports that investigators do not suspect any foul play.

Passengers were taken off the train and put on buses for the remainder of their trips.
