LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) - It’s become a Christmas tradition for Lawrenceville police chief Randy Johnson.

Johnson and his wife Wanda, who don’t have children, get into a patrol car and cruise Lawrenceville Streets - giving another officer a chance to spend Christmas with family members.

WSB-TV in Atlanta reports (https://2wsb.tv/2ik0aRd ) that the Johnson’s have been doing the Christmas patrol for 20 years.

Wanda Johnson calls it a “small gift” to the officers who work hard for Lawrenceville.
