PASCAGOULA, Miss. (AP) - A Pascagoula man is accused of firing shots after an argument with someone at a holiday party in Jackson County.
Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell said the arrest was made early Monday after deputies began investigating the firing of shots at a party in the St. Martin Community.
The Sun Herald reports (https://bit.ly/2ikqHOq ) deputies took 20-year-old William Liddell Jr., into custody on a misdemeanor charge of discharging a firearm.
He was arrested at a convenience store in Pascagoula. Booking records show he was still in custody Monday afternoon.
What prompted the argument and firing of shots remained unclear. WLOX reports (https://bit.ly/2ikjXQi ) that although it was a large gathering, nobody was reported injured by the gunfire.
