TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Police in Tucson say a 92-year-old man died after being struck by a car in the parking lot of a convenience store on Wednesday.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department says Jose Lopez fell in front of a truck, but that the driver didn’t see him and started driving away.

Lopez was sent to a local hospital but did not survive.

The driver of the truck didn’t show any signs of impairment and isn’t facing any charges.
