TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Police have arrested the 43-year-old driver of a car that veered, struck another vehicle and killed a Tucson woman.

Police say Philipe Antonio De La Rosa was just released from the hospital and is facing charges of manslaughter, aggravated assault, endangerment and felony criminal damage.

Tucson police say De La Rosa was driving south on Swan Road near Glenn Street when he crossed over the left turn lane and struck another car head-on.



Gisela Puerta, who was 19, was killed. Her passenger was seriously injured.

Police said De La Rose was driving drunk.
