LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas police are investigating the fatal shooting of a teenager by an employee at a smoke shop during what a police spokesman says may have been an attempted robbery.
According to Dan McGrath of Metro homicide, preliminary information indicated that the teen and two other youths had covered their faces with masks before entering the business Friday night.
The wounded teen died at a hospital and two others were taken into custody at a nearby fast food restaurant.
Police detained the store employee who requested an attorney before giving a statement to investigators.
