WALKER, La. (AP) - Police say one person died and three others suffered injuries in a two-car collision in Walker.

Walker Police Captain John Sharp tells The Advocate (https://bit.ly/2g236zq) one of the vehicles crossed the center line on Florida Boulevard around 3:30 p.m. Sunday and hit the other vehicle.

Sharp says both vehicles carried two passengers.



He says the two drivers and the injured passenger were properly wearing seat belts and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their identities and conditions have not been released.

Sharp says the passenger who was pronounced dead at the scene was not properly wearing a seat belt. The victim’s name has not been released.
