PEMBROKE, N.H. (AP) - The National Guard is holding a ceremony to showcase its newly constructed regional training institute in Pembroke, New Hampshire.

The $33 million facility encompasses a schoolhouse and barracks with 64 double- and eight single-occupancy rooms. The school has four classrooms, a 180-seat auditorium, and cafeteria.

Democratic Gov. Maggie Hassan and members of the state’s Congressional delegation are scheduled to attend the ceremony at 10 a.m. Monday.

The building serves as regional training center for New England, hosting numerous military qualification courses as well as officer and warrant officer candidate schools throughout the year.
