MAGNA, Utah (AP) - Authorities say warrant has been issued for a 50-year-old Utah man who’s accused of kidnapping and assaulting his girlfriend while keeping her against her will in their Magna home for about a week.

The Deseret News reports (https://bit.ly/2gbCZcA ) that Roland Bobby Marquez was also charged Friday in 3rd District Court with misdemeanor damage to or interruption of a communication device.

Charging documents Marquez allege that Marquez knocked the woman unconscious on Thanksgiving Day, tied her in a bed, confiscated her cellphone, blocked her exit when she used the bathroom and told her that he’d kill her if she tried to call for help.

The woman fled from the house Nov. 30, when Marquez left.

Documents say she was treated at a hospital for a broken nose and a facial fracture.
