NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Federal marshals in Florida have arrested a man wanted in the shooting death of a man in North Little Rock.

The U.S. Marshals Service says the suspect was arrested Tuesday in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and remains in custody there pending extradition to Arkansas.

The man is wanted for the Nov. 29 shooting death of 31-year-old Pedro Omar Baez Esperanza in North Little Rock. Court records do not show that the suspect has been formally charged.

Police say Esperanza died at a hospital where he was taken after being found on the city’s south side by officers investigating reports of a man being shot.
