NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say they’ve arrested two men in the slaying of a man whose decomposed body was found on an overgrown property in western New York.
Police in the city of Niagara Falls say the body has been identified as that of 44-year-old Daniel Sparks, of Niagara Falls. Officials say he was reported missing in early November by relatives who said they had not seen him for several weeks.
His body was found Tuesday just behind Cataract Steel. Police say Sparks had received more than two dozen stab wounds.
Police have charged a 27-year-old Lockport man with second-degree murder. A 29-year-old Niagara Falls man has been charged with hindering prosecution and tampering with evidence.
