TEXARKANA, Ark. (AP) - A man accused of raping his former Sunday school teacher at gunpoint in Texarkana, Arkansas, has pleaded not guilty.

The Texarkana Gazette (https://bit.ly/1orhaqT ) reports that 21-year-old Vasquez Dominique Hayes pleaded not guilty to two counts of rape and two counts of theft of property, as well as one count each of kidnapping, aggravated robbery and aggravated residential burglary.

A probable cause affidavit says Hayes forced his way into a 33-year-old woman’s home around 1 a.m. Nov. 22, held her at gunpoint and raped her. Court documents say the victim told investigators the man, wearing a hoodie and sunglasses, drove her car to an ATM and forced her to withdraw $500 before leaving her at an intersection.

Jury selection for the case is set to begin in June.
