FORT TOTTEN, N.D. (AP) - The Spirit Lake Tribe in northeastern North Dakota is getting a $900,000 grant to help improve housing and provide economic opportunities.
North Dakota’s congressional delegation says the money comes from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s community development block grant program.
The tribe has more than 5,000 members. The largest community on the Spirit Lake reservation is Fort Totten.
