COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - A woman arrested in connection with the drug overdose death of a Colorado Springs teenager over the summer has been sentenced to six years of unsupervised probation.

The Gazette reports (https://goo.gl/hiZhwK ) 23-year-old Marjorie Elizabeth Dietrich was sentenced Wednesday after previously pleading guilty to drug distribution. She acknowledged that she was the source of MDMA - a party drug commonly known as Molly or ecstasy - that her boyfriend allegedly sold to a friend of 17-year-old Megan Pacheco, who died July 7 after taking the drug.

Dietrich was not directly charged in the death.

She apologized to the judge in court Wednesday and said she is working full-time, attending community college and has severed ties with friends and associates involved in drugs.
