NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) - Authorities have identified a man who was found fatally shot outside a restaurant in New Castle.

Senior Lt. Adam P. Brams of the New Castle City Police said Tuesday that police have identified the body as 48-year-old Eric Pearson of the Philadelphia area.

The shooting occurred Monday evening outside a TGI Friday’s. Pearson, who was shot multiple times, was founding in the parking lot and pronounced dead by New Castle County paramedics outside the restaurant.

Brams says little information is available as the investigation is ongoing. Police have not released any information on suspects or a motive behind the shooting.
