LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - A truck inspection in Lincoln led a state trooper to 90 pounds of marijuana and one arrest.

Officials with the Nebraska State Patrol say that during a Thursday afternoon semi-truck inspection off of Interstate 80, a police service dog indicated a drug odor coming from a car being transported on the trailer of the truck.

A trooper then found roughly 90 pounds of marijuana in the trunk of the car.

The truck driver, 33-year-old Jeremy Smith, of Weaverville, California, was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. He was taken to Cass County Jail.

Court records do not list an attorney for Smith.
