ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Police say an Annapolis man has been arrested in the fatal stabbing of his father.

In a statement, Annapolis police say 22-year-old Leobardo Jolalpa-Ramirez was charged with first- and second-degree murder in the death of 44-year-old Martin Jolalpa-Vazquez.

Police say they found Jolalpa-Vazquez stabbed inside a home early Saturday after receiving a call. He was transported to a hospital, where he died.



Police say officers quickly located the suspect, and arrested him. Jolalpa-Ramirez faces several other charges including manslaughter, first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and possession of a dangerous weapon with intent to injure.

Jolalpa-Ramirez is being held without bond. It isn’t immediately clear if he has an attorney.

No further details about the incident have been released.
