PINE BLUFF, Ark. (AP) - The Pine Bluff Police Department says that two people have been injured in a shooting outside an apartment complex in Pine Bluff.

Police spokesman David Price said that 19-year-old Wesley Evans was returning to Aikman Apartments Monday afternoon when two men in a white vehicle followed him into the complex, confronted him and then shot him in the upper body. Evans was transported to Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

Authorities say 51-year-old Delona Rhodes was hit in the hand by a stray bullet during the confrontation. She was also taken to the hospital.
