FARGO, N.D. (AP) - The owners of a Fargo-based adult novelty store are suing a Twin Cities suburb over a city ordinance that regulates sexually oriented businesses.
The business is called “Enchantasys Partners 2.” It has filed a federal lawsuit in Minnesota against the city of Burnsville.
The suit says a Burnsville ordinance that bans the sale or rental of sexually explicit movies, magazines and books in portions of the city is unconstitutional. The company wants a federal judge to block the ordinance from being enforced.
KFGO radio reports that Enchantasys has stores in Fargo, Burnsville and Ramsey, Minnesota.
Court documents do not list an attorney for the defendants.
