ROXBURY, Maine (AP) - Maine law enforcement officials say a pickup truck driver struck and killed a woman walking along Route 17 in Roxbury.
Authorities say 26-year-old Caitlin Currivan of Rumford was killed in the 3:43 a.m. accident on Saturday near the Byron town line.
The Lewiston Sun Journal reports (bit.ly/1TKaIYU) that police charged 22-year-old Kyle Kennedy of Rumford with operating under the influence. It was not immediately known if he has a lawyer. A phone number linked to him is no longer in service.
The crash is still under investigation by the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office and an accident reconstruction team from the Maine State Police.
