Pedestrian killed in parking lot, Davenport police say

DAVENPORT, Iowa (AP) - Authorities say a 3-year-old has died after being hit by a pickup truck in a school parking lot in Davenport.

Davenport police have identified the victim as Braddock Shovlain, of Davenport.

The accident occurred around 3:10 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot of All Saints Catholic School. Police say the child was taken to a hospital and declared dead on arrival.

The crash remains under investigation.
