NEW YORK (AP) - Police say a woman discovered a small puncture wound to her shoulder after a man bumped into her on a subway platform in Manhattan.

They say it happened at 6:20 p.m. Wednesday on the R train platform at 49th Street and Seventh Avenue.

Police say the 37-year-old woman said a man bumped into her shoulder and then got on the train. When she got home, police say she noticed a small puncture wound on her shoulder and went to the hospital.

Police say a doctor determined that the puncture was possibly caused by a small object.

Authorities are looking for the suspect.
