FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (AP) - Forecasters say a developing storm just off the North Carolina coast could bring snow to areas along Interstate 95.
The National Weather Service says the storm will bring rain early Sunday and cold air rushing toward the coast. If the low pressure is close enough and the cold air makes it on time, snow is possible.
Forecasters say there is about a 40 percent chance of an inch of snow from Raleigh east to about 40 miles away from the coast.
No warnings or advisories have been issued, but the National Weather Service says they may issue some Saturday as the forecast for Sunday’s storm becomes clearer.
