NEW ORLEANS (AP) - New Orleans police say five people have been injured in a shooting.

A brief statement from police spokesman Frank Robertson says the shooting happened around 9 p.m. Thursday.

Police initially said four people were shot, with three in stable condition and one in critical condition. They later added that a fifth arrived at a hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg. His injuries were not life-threatening.



All the victims were male. Their ages were not released.

An investigation is ongoing. No further details were immediately available.
