FREEHOLD, N.J. (AP) - A former art gallery owner has admitted possessing numerous images of child pornography.

Monmouth County prosecutors say 58-year-old Peter Tumblety pleaded guilty Monday to child endangerment.

The Middletown Township man admitted that he had less than 100 child porn images when he was arrested last March. That came after authorities received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that Tumblety had uploaded some child porn images to an online storage service.

Prosecutors will recommend that Tumblety receive probation when he’s sentenced May 20. He also will have to undergo a psychiatric evaluation and be barred from having unsupervised contact with children.
