OIL CITY, Pa. (AP) - State police have been investigating a burglary, vandalism and attempted arson at a state Department of Transportation office building in northwestern Pennsylvania.

Troopers tell The (Oil City) Derrick (https://bit.ly/1Q2syUM ) that someone broke a large window at PennDOT’s District 1 office building in Oil City sometime between 4 p.m. Saturday and 4 p.m. Sunday.

They say that person got inside the building and vandalized it before trying to set a fire in the PA CareerLink center housed in the building.

Oil City police Chief Bob Wenner says state police are investigating because it occurred on state property.
