CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Presidential hopeful John Kasich is spending some time in the Lowcountry ahead of the upcoming GOP debate.
On Wednesday, the Ohio governor’s campaign says he’s attending a meet and greet event in Charleston.
The gathering is hosted by state Rep. Chip Limehouse at Cumberland Street Smokehouse. The Charleston Republican endorsed Kasich’s White House bid last month.
Kasich is slated to take part in the prime time Republican debate Thursday at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center.
