TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Police say a man accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy at an Alabama hospital has been arrested.

Tuscaloosa police Lt. Teena Richardson tells Al.com (https://bit.ly/1l7Erfc ) that 51-year-old Lorenzo Williams was arrested Wednesday. Williams is charged with second-degree sodomy in the Dec. 21 assault at DCH Regional Medical Center.

Richardson says the boy was visiting a family member the hospital. Richardson says the boy went into the restroom in one of the waiting room areas and was followed by Williams.



The victim was initially treated to the emergency room at DCH, and transferred to Children’s of Alabama.

Williams is being held at the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a $30,000. It’s not clear whether Williams has an attorney.
