FLORISSANT, Mo. (AP) - CrimeStoppers has now doubled the reward for information leading police to the person who killed a suburban St. Louis auto mechanic in August.

The reward is now $10,000 in the search for the killer of 57-year-old Alan Roach of north St. Louis County. He was shot to death during a robbery at Montgomery Auto Repair on Aug. 20 in Florissant.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (https://bit.ly/1ZiG2MF ) reports that police are searching for a gray SUV with temporary plates they believe is connected to the crime. Anyone with information is asked to call Florissant police or CrimeStoppers.
