ALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - Authorities have identified the body of a woman found in a wooded area in southern New Jersey as a 19-year-old whose family and friends had been searching for since October.
State police said Danyelle Minerva, of Atco, was found Monday off Woodstown-Alloway Road in Alloway Township.
Sgt. Jeffrey Flynn says that her death is preliminarily being investigated as suspicious, but police are still waiting to find out her cause of death.
Her family and friends say on a Facebook page set up to find her that she hadn’t been seen since Oct. 15.
Police say tree service workers discovered her body while working in the area Monday afternoon.
