Police investigate ‘suspicious’ death near Orlando nightclub

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Authorities in Orlando are investigating after they say a man was found dead behind a nightclub.

Local media outlets report that Orlando police have identified the man as 43-year-old Essex Taylor III. His body was reported to police Wednesday afternoon.

Police say a delivery person found Taylor in a grassy area near GILT nightclub. Orlando police spokeswoman Michelle Guido says investigators haven’t determined how Taylor died.

Police say his death is being investigated as suspicious.
