NEW YORK (AP) - Authorities say a Pennsylvania fugitive was arrested after driving erratically in the Holland Tunnel.

Port Authority police say Mitchell Neil Thompson, of Reading, Pennsylvania, was wanted on an active warrant for burglary and terroristic threats in Pennsylvania.

They say he was using his cell phone in the tunnel while driving a rental van Tuesday evening from Manhattan to New Jersey.

Police say the 24-year-old crossed over to another lane several times, causing a bus to honk and slow down to avoid him.

Police pulled Thompson over in Jersey City, New Jersey. They say he handed them an expired Pennsylvania driver’s license.

Thompson faces fugitive from justice charges. It wasn’t immediately clear if he had a lawyer who could comment on the charges.
