TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Police say a Louisiana teenager has been shot to death at a Tuscaloosa apartment complex, marking the city’s fourth homicide in a six-day span.

Tuscaloosa Metro Homicide Capt. Gary Hood tells local media outlets that 19-year-old Daniel Torry of Harvey, Louisiana, was gunned down Wednesday afternoon in the parking lot of an apartment complex in southeastern Tuscaloosa.

Authorities say an unidentified suspect fled the scene in a silver vehicle.

Torry’s death is the fourth homicide in the city since Friday. Tuscaloosa recorded 15 homicides in all of 2015.

On Friday night, two teenagers were shot to death with an assault rifle at the same complex. On Monday, 27-year-old Markees A. Lee was shot to death at a Tuscaloosa birthday party where dozens were in attendance.
